I'll always have Paris

this was my first Paris experience... an old man playing the accordion on the train. I have always wanted to go to Paris and when we found out our plane had a layover in Paris we thought we would just stay there a few days. With three crazy dramatic girls I was feeling the need for a serious break, as were, they I am sure from me. Athens and Paris were amazing and although I missed Jeff a lot, and the girls a little, I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. I will have to go back again, but at least for now I can say that I will always have Paris.

I get so motion sick and claustrophobic on planes and the 4 hour wait we had to take off in Athens did not help, I am thankful for prayer, text messaging, and a nintendo ds that saw me through this traveling ordeal.

My good friend Jenn and I on our first outing and Paris. Could not have asked for a more perfect trip partner we had the best time together.

I think that I could sell this shot of the Eiffel Tower.

We missed going to the Louve Museum but it was beautiful from the outside and I will go back someday.

From the top of the Tour De Champs, (Eiffel Tower)

L'Arc De Triumph, so much better than I thought it would be.

The many spiral stairs to the top of the arc

Just beside Notre Dame

This was probably one of my favorite parts of our trip. There was a special vibe around Notre Dame and it was truly amazing to hear the bells ring when we were up in the towers.

the main Bell of Notre Dame

Inside the Chapel

My favorite Rtist Vincent Van Gogh so cool to see it in real life.

Athens...it's all Greek to me

This would have been a great photo if this kid had not jumped in it but it is still a good view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon.

This is one of my favorite moments, this guy walking down the street playing the accordion in the middle of the day... it felt very European to me.

So many people smoked over there, even during the basketball game. At one point this man blew smoke directly into our faces not so nice. Erin's team won though in double overtime. The police were there to keep the crazies under control.

We saw this statue in the Kolonoki neighborhood, his eyebrows reminded me of my schnauzers eyebrows. I loved that there were these amazing statues everywhere.

We hiked to the top of Mount Lycobetos, first we hiked up the wrong peak but then we made. There was this cool white church on top and the view was beautiful.

Jen and I at the end of our hike.

The view from the top. That is the Mediterranean Sea

This is in front of the original Olympic Stadium. I wish we could have gone in and stood in the middle of the field. It was surreal to see all these places I had heard and read about my whole life.

Erin called this the God's bowling Alley... a good name but it is actually the remains of Zeus' Temple. These pillars are huge in real life.

Jenn and I at the top of the Acropolis

A great stadium by the Parthenon. Amazing the architecture from so long ago.

Lula is such a little rock star, She makes you sit and listen to her sing her rockin version of a SNow White song and tells you to cover your ears because she is going to sing loud. And if you know her at all you had better listen.

VIP... You know it....

We hung out in the sweet VIP area thanks to Will and Courtney at HarryOS during the Sundance Film Festival. Totally fun and totally reminded me of how old I am getting. It took me two days to recover from going to bed at 3:30am. Sad but true I am no longer able to party like a rockstar
